A professional couple with a very well respected and demanding coaching practice sought us out to co create an urban retreat.
It began with a beautiful fence I created based on my beloved Tai Chi teachers design. Originally intended for his home, we decided to take that in another direction and it became the focal point of this lovely urban retreat. The tea house complete with gong seats offers a soulful spaciousness even when just viewing through the snow. The fences were designed with movable vents to allow wind and light to filter in. Gardens are Asian and mysterious, Buddha’s live here. There’s plenty of space to dine and entertain, to lounge and to day dream. All Western red cedar construction, lasting and natural, with plants that continue to evolve and uplift.
