Dear MKDB Friends,
It’s coming up on 30 years since I founded Moneca Kaiser Design Build with a mission to reveal caring as the true source of our shelter and activate our wish for a harmonious home for all. This note from a dear client made me realize it’s time for a celebration. I would be so touched and grateful if you too would share how MKDB has touched your life and help us co-create harmonious homes for generations to come.
Moneca dearest! I hope this reaches you so well. I miss you! Our lil family is doing so well in the wonderful home you designed back in 2010!! Annie turned 10 in August and is into competitive horseback riding! I'm learning a lot! We now have two bunnies, and our dog, Cloud! The house feels very well lived in! And I'm sure you would find it interesting how we've used the space. The design has stood the test of time overall! The "parlour" now has a desk for Annie Bun and a keyboard. The main floor bedroom is a bunny room-office-den. Last year we moved the sectional to the basement and got two sofas that face one another in the living room. We are all sleeping upstairs. I would love to have you over and catch up! You will laugh at the clutter! (I don't but take regular deep breaths)
Whether we’ve guided you through a complete gut and remodel spreading a little modern love…

Ultimately, we have just one moral duty; to reclaim large areas of peace in ourselves, more and more peace , and to reflect it toward others. And the more peace there is in us, the more peace there will also be in our troubled world.’’
