With Canada Day around the corner and the long weekend coming up, us Canadians will be sure to be having an event filled weekend. The great thing about Canada Day is it coincides perfectly with Strawberry season. Not only does this make a great outing with family or friends, we’re supporting local farmers and my gosh are  fresh picked strawberries delicious or what?

We wouldn’t be true carpenters if we didn’t include a wood and nails project and what better way to show our national pride then by slapping together some distress grade lumber and giving it a rough coat of red and white. It makes a great outdoor or indoor piece.
